Alright guys, so the race at Park City is right around the corner and for some this is your first IMD race. I hope you all are getting excited as you should be. Each day we are there I would like for everyone to meet me on the plaza deck right there at the base, ready to ski by 8. As I hope you all already know, tonight is our first night training of the season and it's gonna be a cold and snowy one, so dress warm. Depending on what we have available for hill space, the plan is to work on slalom drills. I have said it before, but I will say it again, I am very happy with all of you on your determination and positive attitudes when working on drills and even having to hike, I have seen a great deal of improvement by each of you, thumbs up:) If anyone has any comments, concerns or questions in general please DO NOT hesitate to call.
See you all tonight.

Another great weekend put forth by the J3's
Great job this weekend to the entire J3 team, I really appreciate all of the hard work each one of you have put forth in the drills we work on and on the courses we run through, as well as the excess amounts of hiking done in order to complete the drills. In the matter of weeks we have been training, I have seen great amounts of improvements from each of you. Sometimes it is those easy, quick fixes that you do to help you in a big way. Again great job to all of you and see you all Tuesday night.
P.S.
Thank you Miaja and Erin for bringing in your list of goals.

J4's & J3's in my group. Good training last week, when your attempt to do drills didn't make my eyes weep.Congrats on Aspen & Lindsay for both getting double digit helmet stickers.
This week look forward to brush or soft gate drills on Great Western if conditions allow. GS skis on Saturday, Slalom skis on Sunday. Bring water for hiking. Better be hyped and bring it!!
Alright J3's, I hope that you all have had a chance to rest up and are mentally preparing yourselves for another weekend of training. Because the focus and concentration was mainly on Slalom training last weekend, we will mostly concentrate on GS training this weekend, we may not be able to set a course, but we will at least work on single turns, along with a few linked turns. I hope that each of you have been thinking about your goals for the season and have them written down. Let me know by this weekend if you are or are not planning on racing at Park City next week, December 15-18. See you all in a couple of days.

J3's weekend 12/3-12/4
Alright everyone, I hope you are all well rested and prepared for another fun filled weekend of drills and free skiing. I was up there today and there was not a lot of snow, tonight and tomorrow we are supposed to get 6 inches so just enough to hide all the rocks to be hit. I am hoping that we will be able to set a brush course but no guarantees, I would like for everyone to have both GS and slalom skis available, slalom in the morning and GS in the afternoon. I want to start talking to you all about the upcoming Eric Hayes races at Park City December 15-18, are you all thinking about racing? There are going to be 2 slaloms and 2 GS's, so if you think you want to go, start planning ahead and make sure it won't be a problem with school scheduling.
See you all tomorrow,
Coach Drew

Great first day!!!
Hello Brighton Ski Team, I first want to thank my J3 team for all of the hard work and effort they put forth today with the drills they worked on. I really think that this is going to be a great season for the Brighton ski team as a whole, as long as each of you make sure you continue to work hard and set goals for yourselves to work on throughout the season. I promise that your coaches and I will make sure to do whatever possible to help each of you try and accomplish those goals. So let's all keep working hard testing our limits to a certain degree and pushing ourselves so that we all have a productive and much accomplished season.
